IDS Project
1. Last year for my IDS project I did a research project on cars and how they were powered.
2. This year I'm going to do Rhino 3D modelling . Rhino 3D modelling is a program where you design different materials like jewelry and houses or cars.
3 This project is going to challenge me because I have never done any thing like this before.
4 The purpose of my project is to learn how design different things because it's really difficult
5 i need my laptop and my home computer.

7 How can I become proficient at Rhino 3D modelling so that I can finish and print my product by June?

Mid year checkin
- Progress: Exactly what progress have you made on your project since you started in December? Please explain in some detail (this should be a fairly large paragraph worth of info).
Since December I have made quite a bit a progress. I am on schedule, I have completed everything that I am suppose to do by February except printing the design. In December I made my simple ring design. It wasn't too difficult but it was challenging in the beginning. In January I figured out how get a colour that is really realistic. I found out online that I do not need to get the colour from online but I realized I could get it off of the program. In February I realized had to print but instead I started making the difficult design. - Prove it: Please post some sort of evidence to prove you've made some progress. If you've ordered parts, built something, taken pictures, drawn something, created something etc., take a picture of that stuff and post it. If you've created documents, surveys, etc., post them. (I understand you may have to take pictures of stuff at home, so you may not be able to do this part in class)Here is the picture of the simple band
3. Goals: I'd like you to go back to your IDS Proposal and check out the goals you made. Have you met any of them yet? How so? If not, how do you plan to meet them by the big IDS Expo on May 30th? Be specific by telling what your goals were in your proposal and how you've met them OR how you're going to meet them by the IDS fair.
The only goal I have not met is the printing the simple design for the ring. The goals I have finished are: making a simple ring and finding colour.
4. Re-adjust: Go to the timeline you created on your IDS Proposal and look to see where you should be at by the beginning of March. Are you on track? Or, do you need to re-adjust your timeline to stay on track? Are there any small changes you need to make to your project so that you are able to create a good final product?
